WORSHIP & THE SINGING SONGS
From a jungle Bible school and refugee camp in Thailand to a slum in Uganda, from the Middle East and the Philippines to missionary gatherings in closed countries, conferences and churches here at home, Wink has had the privilege of leading worship in many different settings.
Whenever possible, his heart is for prophetic worship—listening for what the Lord is saying and doing right now in the midst of His people, and making room for those tangible, powerful times when Jesus touches His people with His presence.
But worship is also about serving. Sometimes that means a spontaneous time of worship; sometimes it means a very structured setting. Wherever the opportunity arises, the desire is the same: serve the people, follow the Holy Spirit, and let the song of the Lord go forth.
LET THE SONGS SING
Composing and songwriting since he was 19, Wink writes what he hears, with the hope that the songs will “sing on their own.” His music includes two CD's, Extravagant Love and Kingdom Come — Volume 1, available online along with singles heard on Country Praise and Southern Gospel radio stations.
Through Canyon Creek Records, Wink’s singles are distributed to more than 1,500 independent radio stations across the U.S. and Canada, reaching approximately 100,000 listeners daily. Additional internet stations carry the music worldwide.
Anointed songs bring change and transformation. People are saved, encouraged, strengthened and lifted up. Radio remains a powerful way for the song of the Lord to reach people.
And sometimes the songs truly do “sing on their own.” Wink found out one of his songs has been used in Sunday worship services in the U.S., Canada, Ireland and Wales.
